I really like this cover for my macbook air. I spent two days searching online for one that was colorful (and purple is my favorite color!), thin but strong enough to protect the cover from scratches, and made for the 13 inch air. It took me forever to find this one but now I have it and I love it! It just snaps on really easily and it is thin enough that you can still see the apple light up through it, which I like, and it doesn't add any weight to your laptop. Definitely great for people with 13 inch macbook airs!

The case is cute but it only lasted me a little over one month. The top got all scratched up and the case actually broke on the side of the base, in its weakest point (near the MBA's ports). I move my computer and travel with it frequently, but isn't that exactly what this sort of a case is supposed to be able to withstand? I never dropped it and I don't think I treated it particularly roughly. I had a Speck case on my previous MBA and it worked wonderfully for two years -- the problem with this one may be due to the MBA's redesign and the placement of the ports on the side of the laptop, causing the bottom part of the base to be particularly flimsy in that area. (Amazon was great about accepting the return, even though the 30-day return window had passed.)

Speck usually has great products. I use their cases for my iPad, and my iPhone, and they work fantastically. I was confident that the company, whose mac cases I see adorn mac computers everywhere would be a good choice for my macbook air. Within a couple of months, the bottom part of this snap on case started cracking, and the little plastic pieces that hold the case off started breaking off as well. I contacted speck, explained the situation, and for 15$ was allowed to send the broken case in for "evaluation." I was a little ticked because the shipping cost was half of the cost of the case itself, and I felt like speck should cover it since their product is so defective. They sent me a brand new one (which I currently have on my computer) and behold! It is breaking. Even though I am a fervent follower of most of their products, I am seriously beginning to question whether any of their products are a good idea. The service, and the fact that you have to pay to replace their crap products is very discouraging. I'm trying iPearl instead - they have great reviews.
