After a little less than 2 months of gentle use, my Speck cover has cracked on a corner and lost a good size chip. A cleat on the left side has also worn away and this makes the bottom cover partially slip off on a regular basis. I've used mCover's products before and now I'm wishing I stuck with them.

This case was priced below the comparable Incase product prompting me to purchase it. The case has a nice feel to it and the Apple logo does shine through (a nice bonus). The fit was good but there are a few problems with this case. It broke after 1 month of use as one the tabs on the bottom panel snapped off. Also the lack of vents on the bottom panel cause my Macbook Air 13.3 inch to overheat with an alarmingly loud fan kicking in. This case needs vents and needs to be sturdier. I do not recommend this case as it broke in one month's time and now I have an moderatly expensive, broken case that will likely make a lovely addition to an area land fill.Alas, my cheapness once again failed me as I have literally purchased the perforated Incase case not but an hour ago for $60.00. Hopefully that case will at least last.

Get this case if you want a natural looking slim protective layer that doesn't add bulk or weight to your MBA. I'm picky about cases and was debating even getting one to begin with but this one I heard is the best because it fits perfectly.MATERIAL:One of the best things I like about the case is the SATIN material that never really gets cold or hot. If you've never felt this material before, you should go to the store and check it out. Hands down probably the best out on the market right now.FIT:Speck has done a fabulous job of designing this case. All the pieces are very precise and fit like Apple designed it. The pieces snap right into place. That's it. Couldn't ask anything more.DESIGN:I honestly can barely tell the case is there. You still have access to all ports as if the case were not even there. MagSafe power supply is still able to point both directions.COLORS:Wish they had a lime green satin color. That'd be so dope but I doubt they ever will. Apparently there are a few other colors coming out, none of which are lime. The grey is a pretty subtle color, very clean but a tad boring. No complaints though, really.
