This shell is an awesome, shiny candy red color. It fits the white macbook i bought literally a week ago, the model that debuted in October 2009. This case will definitely NOT fit the older model that came before that; it has more of a square shape to it vs. the sleeker shape of the new Mac. I cleaned both my computer and the case with the cloth included, and snapped it on. Be aware that the top half of the shell should have the Speck logo in the top right corner of laptop when closed; I put it on wrong the first time around haha.

The case helps me protect my new MacBook. Although, I do think that it might be a little tight around the camera area and my camera no longer works. I need to take it in to get it looked at. All in all it is a great buy.

Makes the macbook look very sleek and it protects it better than I thought it would. Wish it didn't get swirl marks so easy, and didn't create so much static.Great product other wise. Would definitely recommend this product.
