I was once like yourself, wasn't sure if I should buy this case until I did extensive research on it. I wanted something different looking yet classy.This case arrived well packed and snapping it on was so easy! The texture is phenomenal and I love the feel of it, soft to the touch yet still hard! The case does show fingerprints, but nothing a quick wipe down won't fix.When the macbook is closed the apple on the back of the screen disappears and when opened, the glow is bright and gives the apple a bit of a fuzzy look to it. The edges of the glow aren't as defined as without this case on, but the case protects your Macbook AND gives the Apple's glow a classy look.The bottom four rubberized anti sliders aren't hard plastic like a lot of cases, they may be taken out if the case if off in order to clean them, and they are cushiony in the sense that they work tremendously well!If you're considering a case for your Macbook Pro, this is it. I researched every case on the market and am glad I bought this one!

So I have been looking and looking and looking some more for a decent case for my 13" MBP. I have ordered at least 6 different cases.I was not impressed at all with the INV cases or the iPearl cases; they felt flimsy.So I decided to go with Speck after reading all it's praises online. When I got the speck case I was really disappointed with the way it fit. Speck satin cases has a few big problems with it.CONS1) The top half does not fit flush with the computer, leaving a large gap between the apple logo and the case its self.2) The top half does not secure tightly, leaving room for the case to move around.3) The bottom half is slightly better, but still does not feel tightly secured.4) The "Satin soft touch" material rubs off.PRO/CON1) The case comes off really easy.PRO1) The color was sweet.2) It did a fairly decent job not holding too much heat.IN THE END...Go with incase cases. Incase hardshell fits the best out of what I have tried so far.If anybody has any good case suggestions let me know.

i love everything about this product. from it's soft satin texture, to the lovely popping noise it makes when you snap it into place. it fits my macbook 13" like a glove. i completely forget it's on my computer until i close it & see the unfamiliar shade of peacock blue. taking it on & off is a breeze. one review i read mentioned something about the fan heating up during movie play being an issue. i'm an avid netflix watcher & i haven't had an issue with over heating. if i did, i would simply unsnap the case & carry on since it's not likely that i will be watching movies & transporting my macbook at the same time. thanks for a quick & hassle-free delivery. i certainly recommend this product!
